Our Values, Mission, Who We Are

We are a community from all walks of life and from all over the world that have come together to live in one place.  We are young at heart, mature in experience, but thrive on daily risks and adventures to further our growth both personally and professionally. Our community is unique in its diversity. Open mindedness leading to open connections. We help each other grow both professionally and personally.  We treat one another with respect.  We learn through collaboration.

Housing + Community + Workspace 

We collaborate.  If the light goes out, we take it upon ourselves to troubleshoot, find the bulb, and hold the stool while someone else replaces it.  Of course, for larger issues, we have an on site manager.

Each month we have a couple of activities, like:

HAH – “Help a Housemate” 

A housemate will present a business (or personal) related question and we help to solve this.  We each agree to pitch in one asking or offering that will benefit the housemate’s business or situation.  Then we rotate.

Events / Outings 

• Backyard BBQ
• Movie Night (or bad Netflix series)
• Bronx Zoo
• Little Italy
• Freedom Tower & 9/11 Memorial
• etc … whatever we come up with!

Workshops

Skill-sharing workshops such as:

• Google Adwords
• Video Game Development
• AMA (ask me anything) tech advice
• Social Media
• E-commerce Build your Shopify Store
• How to Become a Published Author

We don’t care about your background, only your desire to grow and take part.

We like to create “Comfortable Predicability” – You can plug right in and know what to expect.

Cleaning – You don’t have to always clean up after your housemates!  We have a manager onsite who helps keep things tidy.  We do expect you to pick up after yourself, as we do of everyone, and makes for a great space for all.  But we have extra helping hands.

Beds – Comfortable private beds for a good night of sleep in spacious rooms.

Roommates – We are able to help you match with another roommate that might be a great fit if that’s something you need or would like.

Wi-Fi & Power – As some of us are frequent travelers and nomads, unlike being in an airport or on a plane, unsure if your wi-fi connection will be stable – the reliability, the speed, etc, or whether or not your neighbor or roommate is going to snore, etc – you need predictability.

Life, travel, job, business – all are chaotic enough. You may not know where you’ll end up next.

But, after you land in a new city or a new job, things you need always include:

• a safe place to sleep
• predictable environment
• strong & reliable wifi 24-7
• SIM card or phone data plan
• a place to wash your clothes
• access to groceries and transportation
• friends to commiserate with over a meal
• ability to continue your workout routine

All things we take for granted or don’t always think about each time we make a move. But these things should be standard. You need to focus on your next business opportunity, next partnership – professional or personal. Your daily routine is chaotic and stressful enough. We help take away that stress by making your living, social, and roommate situation plug and play.
